In a consult, I can often tell you if you should be writing in the genre you are currently working in or better suited to be working in a different one.  We can talk about problems like what to do to protect the identities of real people in your work, the emotional conflicts you may have to confront to say what wants saying, or how to work through issues with your creative process, writing environment and support system. The list of possibilities is very broad. Whatever you want to discuss pertaining to your work as a writer will be our subject. If I don’t have the information you need, I may suggest a referral or how to begin to research your question.

How It Works

Send me an email and we can set up a time for a free phone consult. Confirm the email with a phone message at 414-278-8933. You can tell me what you’re looking for and I will assess whether I can help. I’ll be able to give you an estimate of my fees.  I never consult for less than an hour. We will find a date that works and schedule your session.
Consults may be in person at VCW or by phone.

Fees

Fees start at $75.00 and are paid in advance. Both cash and checks are accepted by paper mail.
